Report: Florida targeting Jim McElwain, jet en route to Fort Collins

According to multiple reports, a jet is en route from Gainesville, Fla., to Fort Collins, Colo., home of Colorado State coach Jim McElwain. 

Yahoo Sports’ Pat Forde reported the news.

McElwain, who led Colorado State to a 10-2 record this season, is considered a front-runner for the vacant coaching job at Florida. He served as Alabama’s quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator from 2008-11.
