Week 7 college football scores, highlights from Saturday's games image

Week 7 of the college football season delivered a few huge surprises.

Defending national champion and previously undefeated No. 2 Clemson (6-1) fell 27-24 against Syracuse (4-3) under the Friday night lights at the Carrier Dome. Things got even crazier in the Pac-12 late night when unranked Cal (4-3) handed No. 8 Washington State its first loss in a 37-3 beat down.

Saturday’s slate of games saw No. 10 Auburn fall on the road to unranked LSU, 27-23, and West Virginia upset No. 24 Texas Tech. Elsewhere, No. 3 Georgia and No. 1 Alabama stayed undefeated with victories over Missouri and Arkansas, respectively, while Oklahoma defeated Texas in the latest installment of the Red River Rivalry.

12:36 p.m. ET — Watch Khalil Tate's 71-yard rushing TD against UCLA. Arizona came out on top 47-30.

12:18 p.m. ET — A rabbit was loose on the field during the first quarter of Stanford’s game against Oregon.

12:04 p.m. ET —  No. 21 Michigan State holds on for a 30-27 win at Minnesota. 

11:56 p.m. ET — Boise State takes a 21-0 lead over No. 19 San Diego State with 3:19 left in the first half. 

11:39 p.m. ET — Utah was an extra point away from tying the score against USC. The Utes punched it into the end zone with under a minute to play to cut their deficit to 28-27. Utah decides to go for two but is kept out of the end zone. 

11:28 p.m. ET — USC moves in front of Utah. Ronald Jones runs it in from 11-yards out to put the Trojans ahead 28-21. 

10:53 p.m. ET — No. 18 South Florida moves to 6-0 on the year with a 33-3 win over Cincinnati. 

10:47 p.m. ET — Feleipe Franks’ pass is intercepted with 58 seconds left and Texas A&M holds on for a 19-17 road victory. 

10:38 p.m. ET — Alabama cruises to a 41-9 win over Arkansas. 

10:32 p.m. ET — Sam Darnold moves USC to within a score of Utah on a 17-yard touchdown pass Tyler Petite. The Trojans now trail 21-14 with 5:56 to go in the third quarter. 

10:27 p.m. ET — J.T. Barrett increases his touchdown total to seven against Nebraska. He finds  K.J. Hill for a 6-yard score and Ohio State’s lead has ballooned to 56-14. 

10:18 p.m. ET — Jace Whittaker with his second interception of the game for Arizona. He returns this one for a touchdown to put the Wildcats ahead of UCLA 24-7. 

10:15 p.m. ET — Michigan State carries a 17-6 lead over Minnesota into halftime.

10:07 p.m. ET — Feleipe Franks was on the move for Florida with time running down in the third quarter. The Gators currently lead Texas A&M 17-13.  

10:05 p.m. ET — Jace Whittaker comes up with an interception in the end zone to preserve Arizona’s 17-7 lead over UCLA.

9:57 p.m. ET  J.T. Barrett is up to six total touchdowns against Nebraska. He finds Marcus Baugh for an 18-yard score as Ohio State takes a 49-7 lead. 

9:50 p.m. ET — Henry Ruggs has four catches and four touchdowns as Alabama leads Arkansas 31-3.

9:48 p.m. ET — Nebraska avoids the shutout. Tanner Lee completes a 77-yard pass to JD Spielman as Nebraska gets on the board against Ohio State. 

9:42 p.m. ET — Make it five total touchdowns for J.T. Barrett. He connects with Rashod Berry for a 16-yard touchdown as Ohio State's leads grows to 42-0. 

9:40 p.m. ET — L J Scott finds his way into the end zone from 24 yards away to put Michigan State ahead of Minnesota 17-6. 

9:37 p.m. ET — No. 22 UCF adds a 66-yard punt return as its lead swells to 49-14 over East Carolina. 

9:26 p.m. ET —  Utah’s Troy Williams finds Demari Simpkins for a 32-yard touchdown as the Utes take a 21-7 lead over No. 13 USC.

9:18 p.m. ET — No. 4 Georgia leads Missouri 34-21 at the half. 

9:09 p.m. ET — Kahlil Tate opens the scoring for Arizona with a long touchdown run. 

9:04 p.m. ET — Ohio State is putting Nebraska away early. J.T. Barrett runs into the end zone from 3-yards away to give OSU a 35-0 lead with just over a minute remaining before halftime. Barrett already has four total touchdowns. 

9:02 p.m. ET — Utah and No. 13 USC end the first quarter tied at 7-7.

8:50 p.m. ET J.T. Barrett with another touchdown for Ohio State. This time, he finds Terry McLaurin for a 31-yard touchdown and the Buckeyes now lead Nebraska 28-0.

8:45 p.m. ET Drew Lock with his second 63-yard touchdown pass in the first half and Missouri is again tied with Georgia 21-21. 

8:42 p.m. ET — J.T. Barrett finds K.J. Hill, who turns up field and runs into the end zone as Ohio States advantage over Nebraska grows to 21-0.

8:36 p.m. ET — No. 22 UCF with a pick-6 as it continues to pull away from East Carolina. 

8:31 p.m. ET — Tons of big plays in the game between Georgia and Missouri. This time, Sony Michel runs into the end zone from 36 yards away to put the Bulldogs in front 21-14. 

8:22 p.m. ET — Drew Lock connects with Emanuel Hall for a 63 yard touchdown pass and Missouri is tied with Georgia 14-14. 

8:16 p.m. ET— Riley Ridley with an over-the-shoulder catch in the end zone puts Georgia ahead of Missouri 14-7. 

8:11 p.m. ET — J.T. Barrett turns the corner and gets into the end zone for a 6-yard touchdown as Ohio State’s advantage grows to 14-0 over Nebraska.

8:05 p.m. ET — J.K. Dobbins takes a handoff, bounces outside and carries the ball 52-yards for a touchdown as Ohio State takes a 7-0 lead over Nebraska. 

8 p.m. ET — Mecole Hardman gives Georgia a 7-0 lead over Missouri with a 35-yard touchdown run. 

7:56 p.m. ET —  Alabama’s Damien Harris bounces off multiple would be tacklers and finds his way into the end zone to put the Crimson Tide ahead of Arkansas 17-0. 

7:48 p.m. ET — UCF struggled to bring down East Carolina’s Darius Pinnix on this run.

7:35 p.m. ET — Damien Harris opens Alabama’s game against Arkansas with a 75-yard touchdown run to put the Crimson Tide ahead 7-0. 

7:23 p.m. ET — Oklahoma keeps Texas out of the end zone on the game’s final play and the Sooners come away with a 29-24 victory in the Red River Rivalry.  

7:13 p.m. ET — Darrell Langham made this incredible catch on Miami’s game winning drive against Georgia Tech. 

7:09 p.m. ET — Miami drives down the field and kicks a field goal to take a 25-24 lead over Georgia Tech with four seconds to play. 

7:01 p.m. ET — LSU sacks Jarrett Stidham on fourth down and the Tigers hold on for a 27-23 win over No. 10 Auburn. 

6:59 p.m. ET — Mason Rudolph complete a pass to James Washington, who takes it 68 yards into the end zone for a touchdown midway through the third quarter. Oklahoma State currently leads Baylor 59-16 with 7:59 left to play. 

6:48 p.m. ET — Oklahoma moves back in front of Texas as Baker Mayfield connects with a wide open Mark Andrews for a 59-yard touchdown. The Sooners go for two, but the pass is incomplete and they currently hold a 29-24 advantage with 6:53 to play. 

6:46 p.m. ET — Bryce Bobo hauls in a pass in the end zone to put Colorado in front of Oregon State midway through the fourth quarter. 

6:41 p.m. ET — Texas takes the lead. Sam Ehlinger escapes the rush, scrambles out of the pocket and into the end zone for an 8-yard score to give the Longhorns a 24-23 advantage with 8:01 left to play.

6:20 p.m. ET — Miami moves to within two against Georgia Tech. In the pouring rain, Travis Homer accelerates into the end zone from 27-yards out to make the score 24-22. Miami goes for two but doesn’t convert. 

6:16 p.m. ET — Mayfield is back in the game at quarterback for Oklahoma. 

6:15 p.m. ET — LSU moves to within two against Auburn thanks to a 75-yard touchdown return by D.J. Chark.

6:11 p.m. ET — Colorado’s Phillip Lindsay runs straight through a defender and into the end zone for a touchdown. 

6:08 p.m. ET — Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is slow to get up after throwing an incomplete pass and taking a big hit on third down. Backup Kyler Murray is warming up on the sideline. OU currently leads Texas 23-17. 

6:06 p.m. ET — Baker Mayfield shakes off a defender to avoid a sack, scrambles and gets near the first down marker. 

5:59 p.m. ET — Texas punches it in on a 1-yard run by Chris Warren. The Longhorns trail Oklahoma 23-17 with 4:27 left to go in the third quarter. 

5:55 p.m. ET — No. 25 Navy takes a 19-17 lead in Memphis off an 8-yard touchdown run by Zach Abey.

5:43 p.m. ET — Miami attempts an onside kick to open the third quarter. It doesn’t go as planned. Georgia Tech recovers and returns it for a touchdown to take a 21-13 lead. 

5:38 p.m. ET — D.K. Metcalf with some catch for Ole Miss over a Vanderbilt defender.

5:22 p.m. ET Colorado runs a double reverse, which results in a Bryce Bobo touchdown pass to Steven Montez.

5:14 p.m. ET — Miami moves to within one against Georgia Tech on a 17-yard touchdown pass from Malik Rosier to Travis Homer.

5:08 p.m. ET Danny Etling connects with Russell Gage in the end zone for a 14-yard score to cut LSU’s deficit to 23-14 against Auburn at the half. 

5:05 p.m. ET  — Mason Rudolph keeps it himself, shakes off a tackler and gets into the end zone for a 1-yard touchdown to increase Oklahoma State’s lead over Baylor to 28-10. 

4:46 p.m. ET — Oklahoma State quarterback is dropping dimes, finding Jalen McCleskey for a 25-yard score to put the Cowboys ahead 14-7 against Baylor with 14:44 to go in the second quarter. 

 

 

4:11 p.m. ET—Wisconsin's Quintez Cephus hauls in a 12-yard touchdown pass from Alex Hornibrook to go up 14-0 with 6:12 remaining in the first quarter. 

 

 

4:11 p.m. ET—Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph finds Marcell Ateman for a 38-yard touchdown to tie Baylor at 7-7 with 3:06 to go in the first quarter. 

 

 

3:53 p.m. ET—Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham hooks up with Will Hastings on a 49-yard bomb for a score. Auburn leads LSU 10-0 with 11:31 to play in the first quarter. 

3:46 p.m. ET—Boston College kicker Colton Lichtenburg nails a 27-yard field goal to lift the Eagles to a 45-42 win against Louisville 

 

 

3:44 p.m. ET—Michigan's Karan Higdon bounces one outside for a 25-yard score and lifts his team to a 27-20 edge in overtime. 

 

 

3:41 p.m. ET—Indiana kicker Griffin Oakes ties game up against Michigan on a field-goal as regulation expires.

3:15 p.m. ET—Tennessee's record dropped to 3-3 on the season. The Volunteers failed to score on this third-and-goal opportunity from the South Carolina 6-yard line with one second remaining in a 15-9 loss. 

 

 

2:56 p.m. ET—Florida State cornerback Tavarus McFadden breaks up a pass in the end zone as the Seminoles ecape with a 17-10 win at Duke to improve to 2-3. 

2:40 p.m. ET—North Carolina State's Jaylen Samuels scores from 1-yard out to give the Wolfpacks a 28-14 edge early in the fourth quarter against Pitt. 

 

 

2:22 p.m. ET—Florida State freshman running back Cam Akers goes 42 yards to put the Seminoles ahead 17-10 with 8:23 to play on the road against Duke. 

 

 

1:55 p.m ET—Duke just tied Florida State, a school it has never beat in 19 previous meetings, at 10-10 on a 9-yard run by Brittain Brown with 2:12 to go in the third. 

 

 

1:20 p.m. ET—Randy Moss is going to be talking about this one Monday. Texas Tech's T.J. Vasher hauled in this 53-yard touchdown pass against a defener to give the Red Raiders a 28-17 over West Virginia with 5:35 remaining before the half. 

 

 

12:52 p.m. ET—Lamar Jackon isl doing Lamar Jackson things. The reigning Heisman trophy winner scores from 20 yards out on this dazzling run to give his team a 14-0 lead with 3:36 left in the first quarter. 

 

 

12:38 p.m. ET—That's 175 yards on his last two touches for North Carolina State 's Nyheim. He just took a punt return 92 yards for a score and the Wolfpack leads Pitt 14-7 with 55 seconds remaining in the first quarter. 

 

N.C. State fans are slightly geeked about his performance.

 

 

12:29 p.m. ET—North Carolina State's Nyheim Hines ripped off an 83-yard run to tie the Wolfpack's contest against Pitt at 7-7 with 4:37 remaining in the first quarter. 

 

 

12:10 p.m. ET—Florida State quarterback freshman James Blackman finds 6-5  wide receiver Auden Tate on a 20-yard touchdown pass to get the Seminoles on the board first on the road against Duke. The Seminoles lead 7-0 with 8:31 to play in the first quarter. 

 

12:06 p.m. ET—It only led to a field goal, but Tennessee running back John Kelly made a statement on this powerful run. The Volunteers lead the Gamecocks 3-0 with 8:08 remaining in the first half.
