It appears former Florida quarterback Chris Leak won't face charges related to sexual misconduct.
The 16-year-old girl who accused Leak of inappropriate contact with her at Edgewater High School has chosen not to file charges, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The 31-year-old Leak was coaching at the Orlando school, but resigned to defend himself, according to his attorney Tim Jansen.

"Chris Leak loves his players and for the best interest of the team, he didn't want this to be a distraction from an already tough season," Jansen said.
The student and her guardian decided not to pursue charges last week after the alleged incident — which she said occurred in September — was reported earlier this month. She told authorities Leak had asked her for a post-shower massage.
Leak was "relieved, but not surprised" that the charges were dropped, according to his attorney.
