Former Florida quarterback Chris Leak is under investigation for an alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl at a Florida high school, the Orlando Sentinel reported Wednesday.
Leak, 31, resigned Monday as football coach at Edgewater High School in Orlando after leading the team for only five games. That same day, a 16-year-old girl told a school resource officer that Leak made her touch his genitals in an athletic trainer's office at the school on Sept. 5, according to a police report cited by the Sentinel.

No charges have been filed against Leak. The investigation is ongoing.
The girl told detectives that Leak emerged from a shower area wearing only a towel before asking her to give him a massage. She massaged the back of his legs before he turned over and allegedly put her hands on his genitals, the police report said.
Leak was 0-5 in his first season as Edgewater's coach before resigning. Leak played briefly in the NFL, Canadian Football League and Arena Football League, but is best known for his exploits at Florida.

He first attended Florida in 2003 after winning three consecutive high school state championships in North Carolina and ended up starting nine games as a freshman. He blossomed after coach Urban Meyer took over as coach before his junior year, leading the Gators to a national championship as a senior in 2006.
Leak graduated from Florida with honors with a sociology degree the same year.
