Ohio State's defense hasn't allowed a touchdown through two games this season, but apparently the Buckeyes' work hasn't had enough flair for Austin Kendall's tastes.
Who is Austin Kendall? The backup quarterback at Oklahoma, which hosts OSU this weekend. The freshman from Waxhaw, N.C., was on Sooner Sports television earlier this week and predicted a big game from Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield.

"I think they have a really basic defense," Kendall said of the Buckeyes. "I think we can go out there and Baker, he’ll light them up. I’m really looking forward to it. If my number’s called, I think I can do the same."

One imagines Kendall already has heard about bulletin-board material from his coaches since making those comments. The Buckeyes won't be shy about using them to that effect.
“I haven’t heard what you just said, but if that happened, [our coaches] probably use that," coach Urban Meyer said on his radio show (via Eleven Warriors).
The good news for Kendall is it's unlikely his number will be called Saturday. But Buckeyes defensive players undoubtedly will be aware of where No. 10 is on the home sideline and might have some thoughts to share if they're in the neighborhood.
