No. 15 TCU and Arkansas played a wild-overtime shootout on Saturday, one that really didn’t get started until the fourth quarter.

Austin Allen’s second-effort for a touchdown in double-overtime gave Arkansas a thrilling 41-38 win on the road. How crazy did it get between the Arkansas  and TCU?

Here are seven things that just happened:

1. Missed field goal

Arkansas led 20-7 and could have taken a commanding lead with 11:30 remaining in the game, but Cole Hedlund missed a 22-yard field goal.

2. TCU rallied

The Horned Frogs took advantage with three straight TD drives behind quarterback Kenny Hill, who gave TCU a 28-20 lead with a five-yard TD with 2:05 remaining.

3. “Throat slash”
Hill, however, made the “throat slash” gesture, which cost the team 15 yards and gave Arkansas good field position. Austin Allen led a four-play, 58-yard touchdown drive to put the Razorbacks within two points.

4. Double-reverse
Bret Bielema pulled out all the stops to tie the game. Allen handed off to Drew Morgan who pitched to Keon Hatcher for the reverse. Hatcher then threw to Allen for the two-point conversion.

5. Blocked field goal
KaVontae Turpin returned a kickoff 64 yards and appeared to put the Horned Frogs in position to win the game in regulation, but Ryan Graf’s 28-yard field goal was blocked by 6-10 Arkansas offensive linemen Dan Skipper to send the game into overtime tied at 28.

6. Overtime
Arkansas’ Jeremy Sprinkle caught a 19-yard TD in the first overtime, but Hill answered with a 13-yard TD pass to Taj Williams on third-and-12.

7. Double overtime
Graf hit a field goal to open double overtime, but Arkansas finished the game, however, on Allen’s touchdown run. That gave the Razorbacks a thrilling victory.
