Explotiation isn't always a bad thing.

In the aftermath of the destruction in Texas and Florida caused by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, two of college basketball highest-profile teams, heading into the 2017-18 season combined forces and came up with a unique way to aid in the relief efforts. Missouri and Kansas announced last week they'd be renewing their once-famed Border War rivalry in the form of a one-night, one-time exhibition with all of the proceeds going toward charity. In an effort to cut costs and maximize giving, they decided the game wouldn't be aired on television.

Now, they've come up with a way for everyone who couldn't purchase tickets, which sold out in minutes, for the contest set to tip Saturday at the nearly 19,000-seat capacity Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. to help out. Friday, according to Kansas beat reporter Matt Tait, the exhibition which will serve as the college debut for Mizzou freshman Michael Porter Jr., the projected No. 1 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft,  the game will be lived stream online...for a fee.

But, of course, all the money will go toward helping those who need it most.
