Questionable calls leave Wisconsin fans wondering 'What if?' image

Duke won the national championship, but Wisconsin fans will probably wonder about two late plays for years to come.

The calls left Badgers fans wondering "what if?" What if those calls down the stretch had gone the other way? Would it have impacted the outcome of the game? We'll never get a chance to find out now.

With just over three minutes to play, Duke's Justise Winslow drove down the baseline as his Blue Devils held a one-point lead. Winslow appeared to step on the baseline during the play, but the officials missed the call. Jahlil Okafor ended up scoring on the possession to put Duke up three.

Later on Wisconsin's end, Bronson Koenig missed a shot and as he scrambled for the rebound against Winslow the ball was knocked out of bounds. The refs called it off the Badgers, who were down five at this point, but went to the monitors to make sure they got the right call.

Fans at home saw that the ball was knocked out by Winslow's finger tips, but the officials didn't overturn their initial ruling and Duke kept the ball.

Even Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan had a few choice words for the officials after the game.

UPDATE: Things just got worse. Apparently, the officials weren't shown the same camera angle as the above Vine when they reviewed the play.

But, why?
