Duke will be without its best player when it takes on Virginia Tech at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Wednesday night. 

Blue Devils freshman Marvin Bagley, the ACC leader in points and rebonds per game, will sit out the contest after suffering a mild knee sprain the team's loss at rival North Carolina last Thursday, reports the Raleigh News & Observer's Jonathan M. Alexander

It'll be the second game the 6-11, 234-pounder has missed time due to the injury. He also sat out the Blue Devils' 80-69 victory on the road against Georgia Tech this past Sunday. Bagley, a likely top five pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, should he choose to leave school early, is averaging a double-double at 21.2 points and 11.4 rebounds while playing 33 minutes per game. Duke will also miss him on the defensive end. He's second on the team with 1.08 blocks to go along with a steal per game. 

Duke (20-5, 8-4) fell to No. 12 in the latest AP poll have dropped three of their last five. Expect 6-11 sophomore Marques Bolden to make his second-straight start against the Hokies. He played a career-high 25 minutes, scoring eight points and grabbing six rebounds against the Yellow Jackets. 

Virginia Tech (18-7, 7-5) is coming off a 61-60 overtime upset of now No. 1 Virginia this past Saturday.
