The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game is here, but it will look a little different to previous versions.

For just the second time in league history, the All-Star Game will see a team of WNBA All-Stars square off against Team USA ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Rookie superstars Caitlin Clarke of the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky's Angel Reese headline the All-Star team, going from college rivals to WNBA rivals and now All-Star teammates.

Joining the young duo are veterans Nneka Ogwumike (Seattle Storm), making her ninth All-Star appearance, DeWanna Bonner of the Connecticut Sun (6th) and the New York Liberty's Jonquel Jones (5th).

This game is expected to deliver a competitive battle as Team USA looks to get in rhythm ahead of the Olympics where they are out to make it eight consecutive gold medals.

The USA naitonal team is an All-Star team in its own right, headlined by six-time Olympian Diana Taurasi, 2023 WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart and two-time MVP A'ja Wilson.

The All-Star Game is the final event of the star-studded weekend in Phoenix, which also features the Kia WNBA Skills Challenge and STARRY WNBA 3-Point Contest — both taking place on Saturday (AEST).
