Westbrook finished with a season-high 46 points, six rebounds and six assists as the Thunder defeated the Wizards 121-112 on Friday (AEDT).

After finding themselves in a hole at halftime, the Wizards battled back behind the strong play of All-Star Bradley Beal. They were able to level the scores at one point in the second half, but could not get over the hump. With the loss, Washington is now 0-9 all-time in the city of Oklahoma.

Beal finished with a team-high 41 points, 12 rebounds shooting 55% from three-point range. His All-Star teammate John Wall struggled for most of the game but came on late to finish with 21 points, 12 assists in the loss.

The Thunder have now won six in a row and will look to keep the win streak alive on January 28 when they take on the Pistons in Detroit.

The Wizards will have the opportunity to avenge their loss to the Thunder on January 31 as the two team will meet for the final time this season in Washington.
