The Toronto Raptors became the 1st team in the NBA this season to clinch a playoff berth with a 121-119 overtime win over the Detroit Pistons.

DeMar DeRozan led the way with a game-high 42 points, but he shut the arena down with a devastating dunk over Anthony Toliver.

DeRozan took the ball with the Raptors down one and 8.2 seconds to go in regulation, he drove down the lane and crushed one home on Toliver with the foul to give Toronto a two-point lead.

Blake Griffin tied it up in regulation to send it to overtime.

Late in the extra frame, Griffin set up Reggie Bullock for a 3-point shot that missed with about 10 seconds to go. Out of a Pistons double-team DeRozan to found Fred VanVleet who buried a jumper with 1.1 seconds left to win the game. 

Griffin finished with 31 points and Andre Drummond added a double-double of 10 points and 21 rebounds.

The Raptors improved to 47-17 on the season which marks just the second time in franchise history that Toronto was 30 games over .500 at any point in a season.

The Raptors finished the 2015-16 season with a 56-26 record.
