Warriors have room for improvement

Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut think the 28-1 Warriors can play better.

The bad news for the NBA may not be that the Warriors are 28-1 but that they think they aren't playing particularly well.

Draymond Green, Andrew Bogut and other members of the defending champs say they aren't happy with the way they've played recently.

“The last 10 games, we haven’t had great games – even though we won them," Bogut said, via USA Today . "We just know how to win, but we felt like we weren't playing that well. So without sounding arrogant ... we're 28-1 and we're saying we haven't played that well, that we have things to work on.”

That's pretty scary considering the Warriors have only lost once all season, to Milwaukee on Dec. 12. Their record includes an 89-83 win over the Cavaliers on Christmas Day in a rematch of last season's NBA Finals.

“(When) the offence is flowing, the defence is getting back-to-back-to-back stops, we're not giving up offensive rebounds,” Green said after that game. “I just don't think we've done that. Our offence hasn't been flowing. We haven't been executing very well. And we haven't been putting up (the defensive effort) that we want. There are some things to clean up."

"We know we'll reach that point. And when we do, we know that's trouble. Because if we're 28-1 and we're not playing well, imagine when we are. That's why it excites me.”
