The Warriors will be honoring assistant coach Dejan Milojevic with warmup shirts and jersey patches in the wake of his death.
Milojevic suffered a heart attack on Jan. 16 and was hospitalized immediately following the incident. He died the next day at the age of 46.
The Warriors postponed games against the Jazz on Jan. 17 and the Mavericks on Jan. 19 before resuming play on Jan. 24 against the Hawks. Golden State will play in front of a national audience on Thursday, as TNT is airing its 10 p.m. ET game against the Kings.

During Wednesday's 134-112 win over the Hawks, Golden State left Milojevic's chair open on the bench, draped with a shirt reading "Brate" and a white rose. The team wore warmup shirts to honor their coach and will wear patches on their jerseys for the rest of the season.

The Warriors will honor Milojevic in several games through upcoming games and the rest of the season.
Jersey patch
For the rest of the season, the Warriors will be wearing a patch on their jersey that reads "DM," Milojevic's initials. The patch will be featured on the top left shoulder of the jersey, surrounded by the outline of a heart.
The Warriors will also have the same logo featured on the court at the Chase Center.
During Golden State's game against Atlanta, the players' pregame jerseys read "Milojevic" on the back. Each jersey was then delivered to his seat.

Warmup shirts
The Warriors will be wearing warmup shirts that read "Brate" during the team's first week since returning to the court. The shirt was debuted by coach Steve Kerr during a press conference Monday.

What does 'Deki' mean?
"Deki" was Milojevic's nickname. It is a common nickname for people named Dejan.
What does 'Brate' mean?
"Brate" is the Serbian word for brother. Serbia was Milojevic's home country, and he began his coaching career there before joining the Warriors in 2021.
