On Monday (AEDT) the rabid fanbase greeted their newest acquisition Carmelo Anthony upon his arrival in Oklahoma.
Melo got a taste of what it will be like playing at Chesapeake Energy Arena in front of the Thunder fans as they chanted his name, and even wore hoodies in honour of his off-season persona "Hoodie Melo".

Anthony arrived just in time for "Media Day" on Tuesday (AEDT) and will most likely suit up for his first taste of action with his new team against the Houston Rockets on October 4 in their pre-season opener.

He won't have to wait long to play against his former squad, as the Thunder start the regular season against the New York Knicks on October 20.
