The Nets and Rockets were not bashful from behind the 3-point line Monday, setting a new NBA record for combined three-point attempts in a single game.

The two teams combined to shoot 89 three-pointers, breaking the previous record by one. The Rockets made 20 of their 50 attempts from behind the arc in a 117-103 home victory.

James Harden, who scored a game-high 37 points with 10 rebounds and eight assists, hit 8 of 13 from beyond the arc.

Seventeen different players attempted a three-pointer in the game, and Nets guard Caris LeVert (0 for 5) and forward Quincy Acy (0 for 3) were the only players to attempt multiple and miss them all.

The Rockets (16-4) also earned their fifth straight win, moving them a game ahead of the Warriors (15-5) in the Western Conference.
