The Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers all reportedly made plays to acquire the services of PG13 even if for just one year.
George, who has one more year remaining on his contract, continues to be rumoured to wanting to go home and play in Los Angeles for the Lakers.
It will be interesting to see if the move effects the way he treats free agency next off-season, and how it will effect Russell Westbrook's on-going contract negotiations.
