After PG13 reportedly told the Indiana Pacers that he was looking to move on when he becomes a free agent next summer, the Pacers have reportedly begun searching for a trade partner to get something in return for their All-Star.

The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Pacers' GM Kevin Pritchard has become "more aggressive" in the trade discussion for George. While there hasn't been any reported discussion with George's preferred destination of LA, the Pacers have engaged in talks with several teams including the Cleveland Cavaliers

George still has $19.3 million (USD) on his current deal, with a player option the following year. If he opted out, he would be eligible to sign a four-year deal worth as much as $130 million (USD) with the Lakers next year.

With a full year on his deal the Pacers will be left in the same situation as the Denver Nuggets were in when Carmelo Anthony made it clear he wanted to move on.

The clock is ticking to see if Indy can convince George to stay, or if they can get a boatload of young talent in return for their franchise player.
