Report: Cleveland 'definitely' will make a trade before deadline image

It's that time of the NBA season folks!

The trade sources have already started to fly in the Association, ahead of the trade deadline Friday, Feb. 9 AEDT.

And according to the New York Times' Marc Stein, the Cleveland Cavaliers will "definitely" get in on the action.

Cleveland has lost four in a row, including Tuesday's defeat to the rival Golden State Warriors

Rumours of the Cavaliers making a move had surfaced before, but never with the "definite" tag attached to it. The front office has also reportedly made it known that they will not look to move the Brooklyn Nets draft pick that they received from Boston in exchange for Kyrie Irving.

After losing to the Warriors in last year's NBA Finals in five games, and getting swept this season by the Dubs one would wonder if there was any one deal that the Cavaliers can strike to close the talent gap between the two sides.

Cleveland General Manager Koby Altman, who's in his first year on the job, might have to pull a rabbit out of the hat if the reports are true.
