Washington Wizards starting shooting guard Bradley Beal has entered the 'health and safety protocols' at Team USA Camp in Las Vegas, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania and Joe Vardon.
A member of Team USA's 12-man roster for the Tokyo Olympics, Beal's status for the Olympics is in doubt, although, there is nothing definitive announced so far.

The Tokyo Olympics were set to be the 6-3 guard's first international tournament for Team USA.
Through the three exhibitions games, in which Team USA have gone 1-2, Beal started each game and averaged 10.3 points including a tied team-high 17 in the win against Argentina.

Beal is coming off a spectacular 2020-21 NBA season, a year that marked his first All-NBA selection, with career-high averages of 31.3 points on 48.5 percent shooting from the field.
