Zaccharie Risacher is the latest French starlet garnering praise for his play in France's top-flight division, LNB Pro A.

A prospective top-five pick — and perhaps the favorite to go No. 1 in this year's draft — Risacher figures to be in the headlines for years to come if his career goes as scouts hope it will. But just how does one pronounce Risacher's full denomination?

How do you pronounce Zaccharie Risacher name?

Risacher's first name is fairly simple, with the "Zaccharie" being pronounced "ZAK-UR-EE," much like the way we would say "Zachary" in English.

Risacher is an entirely different situation, however.

According to The Learning Family, Risacher is pronounced like "Riss-A-Chea." The "r" sound vanishes, instead replaced by an amalgamation of the vowels "e" and "a."

Either way you slice it, Risacher will be hearing his name plenty come draft night. And after averaging 13.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in EuroCup play this season, it's easy to see why.

The Frenchman will be hearing his name called early in this year's NBA Draft. It's only the start for the 19-year-old, tasked with resurrecting one of the league's worst franchises as a rookie.
