Drummond sets free-throw miss record image

It may be time for the term "Hack-A-Shaq" to become "Hack-A-Drummond" after the Pistons star was victim to a whole new level of intentional fouling of poor shooters on Wednesday.

The Rockets sent Andre Drummond to the free-throw line a franchise record 36 times during the Pistons' 123-114 win. Twenty-one of those were on intentional fouls, and Drummond, who is shooting 35 percent from the charity stripe this season, missed and NBA-record 23 of his attempts.

The Rockets had K.J. McDaniels use all five of his fouls against Drummond in the first 10 seconds of the second half. At one point, Drummond was sent to the foul line 12 straight times in the opening 2:30 of the third quarter.

Drummond finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds on 2 of 4 shooting from the field.
