Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons continues to give back to the local community, donating more than 600 winter coats to local Philadelphia students.

Simmons, in partnership with the 76ers and 'Operation Warm', gifted a brand-new winter coat to every student at Henry C. Lea Elementary School at his “Coats for Kids” event.

“I just try to do everything I can to help people. Any way I can help kids out during the winter or school, I love to do that,” Simmons said per The Philadelphia Inquirer.

It's the second year in a row the Aussie point guard has taken on the initiative, with the “Coats for Kids” event aimed at promoting self-esteem, school attendance and outdoor play.

Operation Warm is a national non-profit that creates high-quality winter coats for children in need.
