The NBA's Basketball Without Borders Asia (BWB) camp will return to Australia once more in 2024 — the 14th edition of the event.
This September, the camp will highlight the top 17-and-under basketball talent from across the Asia-Pacific region, with 30 boys and girls invited to take part.
Across four days, the event will take place as part of the NBL's HoopFest, seeing a mass congregation of Australian basketball talent in Perth, WA.

Perth to host Basketball Without Borders Asia camp
Perth's edition of BWB will be the third time the event has been held in Australia, with the participants set to be tutored by NBA and WNBA players, as well as coaches and other basketball legends.
NBA Senior Vice President Troy Justice said the camp is crucial in identifying and promoting talent from the Asia Pacific region, in conjunction with one of the world's top domestic leagues.
"Our collaboration with the NBL and FIBA presents a unique opportunity to showcase BWB Asia as part of the first-ever HoopsFest in Perth as part of our commitment to developing elite players from the region as players and leaders," Justice said.
"This year’s camp will once again provide a platform for top prospects to compete alongside their peers and learn from some of the world’s best players and coaches and deliver a truly memorable experience to participants who also get to be a part of the NBL’s weeklong celebration of basketball."
With the Australian basketball world descending on Perth for the inaugural HoopsFest, there will be no shortage of basketball-mania on the West Coast.
"Having the NBA involved in HoopsFest is a massive addition to what already promises to be the biggest weekend in Australian basketball history," NBL CEO David Stevenson added.
"One of the main goals of HoopsFest was to unite basketball, and this will happen with all elements of the game coming together in Perth.
"The BWB camps have helped developed several current and former NBL players including Josh Giddey, Kye Savage and more.
"We look forward to seeing the next wave of basketball talent come through the BWB camp in September and are also excited for NBA talent to arrive in Perth for HoopsFest."
The event will run from September 19-22, at Warwick Stadium in Perth.
What is HoopsFest?
HoopsFest is a celebration of basketball in Australia, combining music, food, culture, entertainment, and fashion in a weekend of festivities.
The inaugural event is headlined by Round One of the NBL season, with all ten teams in action, alongside the Cygnett WNBL Tournament, featuring all eight WNBL teams.
The next generation of hoopers will also be on show with the Foot Locker Under-18 Australian Club Championships taking place.
In total, there will be 13 NBL and WNBL games played across RAC Arena, Bendat Basketball Stadium and HBF Stadium, along with 140 Under-18 Australian Club Championship games.
