Rajon Rondo to the Pelicans? It's a possibility.

New Orleans sent representatives to Rondo's home in Louisville, Ky., to talk about a potential one-year deal, ESPN reported.
The meeting reportedly went well, and Rondo and the Pelicans could begin negotiations as early as Friday (AEDT).
Rondo also already has ties to one player in the organization — while he was with the Kings in the 2015-16 season, he became close with DeMarcus Cousins, who was traded to the Pelicans during the 2017 All-Star break.
Even though New Orleans just re-signed point guard Jrue Holiday to a five-year, $126 million guaranteed deal, the Pelicans reportedly are interested in having Rondo fill a backup role to give Holiday more rest during the season.
Rondo, 31, is a free agent who most recently played with the Bulls. He was crucial in the playoffs before he broke his thumb, which forced him to miss the rest of the postseason.
