Pierce's top 5 clutch shots

Pierce drains the triple over LeBron - 2012

With the Boston Celtics leading 87-86 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Paul Pierce delivered in crunch time with the dagger three-pointer over LeBron James to give the Celtics a four-point lead and seal the win.

The Celtics clawed their way back from 0-2 down in the series to take a 3-2 series lead behind Pierce's heroics.

"I called GAME" - vs. Atlanta Hawks - 2015

The shot was unbelievable....but his post-game interview was legendary.

With the scores tied and time winding down against the Washington Wizards, Pierce rose up over three defenders to bank home the game-winning bucket to go up 2-1 in the series.

When asked post-game if he 'called bank' he simply replied...."I called game"

Pierce takes over to sink Bulls - 2009

Pierce took over in Game 5, burying three straight jumpers in overtime, including the game-winner with 3.4 seconds remaining to give the Celtics the W and a 3-2 series lead.

Pierce silences MSG - 2010

Does it get better than a game winner at Madison Square Garden?

With 0.4 seconds remaining, Pierce hit Amar'e Stoudemire with a signature step-back jumper to seal a 118-116 win over their Atlantic Division rivals.

Talk the talk, walk the walk vs. Pacers - 2003

"Pierce ...buries it!"

While it wasn't a game-winner, it had all the swagger of one. With the clock winding down in the third quarter, Pierce and Al Harrington went back-and-forth, jawing at each other, before the Celtics swingman drained the off-balance fadeaway from downtown.

Pierce's jersey retirement in Boston

After 15 seasons in a Celtics uniform, Pierce's #34 jersey was raised into the rafters of TD Garden alongside their 17 championship banners.

Pierce retires as the Celtics' second all-time leading scorer (24,021), trailing only John Havlicek. Alongside Havliceck and Larry BIrd, Pierce is just one of three Celtics to have scored more than 20,000 points for the iconic franchise.
