Giannis Antetokounmpo was named MVP of the 2021 NBA All-Star Game, but he wasn't the only player to put up big numbers.

Not far behind Antetokounmpo in the scoring column was Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard, who scored 32 points on 11-for-20 shooting from the field and 8-for-16 from 3-point range in 20 minutes off the bench.

Lillard saved his best for last, hitting a shot from almost halfcourt to secure the victory for Team LeBron.

After the game, LA Clippers forward Paul George was asked about his thoughts on how the game has evolved, to the point where the likes of Lillard and Stephen Curry are taking deep 3-pointers on a consistent basis.

His response?

"Well, I guess I was criticized for the right reason for calling Dame's shot in the playoffs a bad shot. I mean, I see this guy's range is crazy."

George, of course, is talking about the 37-foot game-winner Lillard hit in Game 5 of Portland's first-round series with Oklahoma City in the 2019 NBA Playoffs that eliminated the Thunder.

George was the one guarding Lillard on his last-second shot and said that it was a "bad shot" in his postgame press conference.

George isn't planning on adding the deep 3-pointer to his repertoire as Lillard has, but his stance on them has changed.

"It's a great shot. Two thumbs up."
