The Nets have ensured continuity in their frontcourt, even as the backcourt is being shopped in reported trade offers.

Power forward Thaddeus Young and center Brook Lopez agreed to re-sign with the team, Yahoo Sports reports, with Young taking $50 million over four years and Lopez at $60 million over three. The agreements came not long after free agency opened at 12 a.m. ET Wednesday.

The pair of 27-year-olds finished the season strong together after Young joined the Nets at the trade deadline. The Nets closed the season with a 13-6 finish, in which Young averaged 14.3 points on 48.4 percent shooting and Lopez 21.8 points and 9.1 rebounds on 57.2 percent shooting.

The Nets reportedly are shopping veteran guards Deron Williams, Jarrett Jack and Joe Johnson, but Young and Lopez are in Brooklyn for the foreseeable future as the team's best assets.
