Nerlens Noel wants a bigger contract from the Mavericks, so he fired his agent in order to get a max deal.

According to NBC 5 in Dallas , Noel fired agent Andy Miller and hired Dan Fagen to hopefully receive a larger offer than the one-year, $5.8 million contract that is reportedly on the table.
Why Noel, 23, thinks he deserves a max contract worth nearly $25 million a year isn't exactly clear — he only averaged 8.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game last season.
Not to mention, Noel has an extensive injury history. However, Noel could be hoping that Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is willing to at least meet him halfway for a considerable raise since the team is in a rebuilding phase.
Noel was traded to the Mavericks from the 76ers before the February trade deadline for Justin Anderson, Andrew Bogut, and a first-round pick.
