Next week's NBA trade deadline is fast approaching, and the Bucks could be one of the next teams to make a splash.

According to SLAM Magazine , Milwaukee is interested in acquiring center Hassan Whiteside from the Heat.

Though the report didn't name whom the Heat would acquire, Jabari Parker and Eric Bledsoe could be involved. Bledsoe, acquired by the Suns in December, is battling an ankle injury and hasn't quite adjusted to his new team.

Bledsoe is averaging 16.8 points and 4.1 assists per game this season. Parker will make his season debut Saturday (AEDT) after recovering from his second ACL surgery.

Whiteside, averaging 14.6 points and 11.9 rebounds per game, has recorded nine double-doubles this month. He has become one of the best rebounding centers in the league.

While a trade for Whiteside makes sense for Milwaukee, it doesn't really work for the Heat, who are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference.

The Bucks have won four straight games and may feel like they can contend this season in the wide-open East, but it will be hard to convince a fellow contender to trade away one of their most important players.
