Another slate of preseason games gets us that much closer to the tip-off of the regular season.
Kawhi Leonard, the reigning Finals MVP, made his preseason debut for the Los Angeles Clippers in an exhibition contest against the Denver Nuggets, the team's third preseason game after previously playing two games in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Playing just 11 minutes, he finished with seven points, six rebounds, and one steal in the team's 111-91 loss:

For the Nuggets, in just 22 minutes, Nikola Jokic finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Meanwhile, at the Chase Center in San Francisco, the Golden State Warriors hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves, the second game of the preseason for both teams.
After dropping their first game to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first-ever game at the Chase Center earlier this week, two-time MVP Stephen Curry put on a show against the Timberwolves.
Curry dropped 40 points in 26 minutes on 14-of-19 (73.7%) shooting from the field, including 6-of-9 (66.7%) from beyond the arc.
