But his Game 3 didn't last long as he was forced to head back to the locker room after just 4:19 minutes of game time. With 30 seconds left in the first quarter, Payne rolled his ankle in a scramble for the ball.
He came up limping and then headed back to the locker room. The team confirmed later that he would not return for the rest of the game.
