NBA Free Agency 2019: Report: Klay Thompson to listen to Los Angeles Clippers, Lakers image

The doors of NBA Free Agency are ready to swing open and with key players hitting the market it could alter the NBA landscape.

Golden State are coming off a loss in the NBA Finals to the Toronto Raptors and could now be looking at some key changes ahead of next season.

Kevin Durant reportedly declined his player option and will enter Free Agency as an unrestricted free agent when it officially opens on July 1.

Now the latest report indicates Klay Thompson could be testing the water's and listen to pitches from the Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers.

The LA Times' Brad Turner reports Thompson will listen to both LA teams if the Warriors don't offer him a max deal.


Thompson suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during the NBA Finals, but he could return to the hardwood ahead of the 2020 NBA Playoffs.

Free agency begins at 8am (AEST) on July 1.
