According to TSN, the broadcasting network in Canada for Game 2, the weekend's contest attracted an average audience of 4.3 million across TSN, CTV, RD2 (all sister channels).
That number makes it the most-watched NBA game on record in Canada.
The total audience numbers peaked to nearly six million at approximately 10:44 PM ET during the game's final minute as the Warriors escaped Toronto with a 109-104 victory.
The game was ranked #1 program for the day and was the second-most English-language sports broadcast in the broadcast and calendar year since Super Bowl LIII.
With the Toronto Raptors representing the Eastern Conference in the 2019 NBA Finals, it is the league's first-ever championship series to be played outside the United States.

As the Canadian franchise continues to make history with this deep postseason run, each of the three previous games have broken broadcasting viewership records.
An average of 3.1 million people caught the Raptors sealing their first-ever Finals berth by defeating the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 of the Conference Finals. That number rose to 3.3 million for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
The series now shifts to Oakland for Games 3 & 4 at the Oracle Arena.
