Kevin Love will not be suspended for leaving the bench during the late-game altercation between the Cavaliers and Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Yahoo Sports and ESPN both reported the league has decided not to discipline the Cleveland forward because he quickly retreated to the bench area when things got physical between Tristan Thompson and Draymond Green late in Golden State's overtime win Thursday.

Tempers flared with 2.6 seconds left after Thompson earned an ejection with a Flagrant 2 foul on Shaun Livingston. The foul brought players from both teams together for some heated words, and it escalated when Thompson shoved the ball in Green's face.

Love had come off the bench onto the court after the initial foul on Livingston but did not continue to move toward the action.

Game 2 of the series is Sunday in Oakland, with tip-off set for 8 p.m. ET.
