Derrick Rose has been one of the most injury-riddled stars of any sport over the last five years.

The Cavaliers point guard has already missed four games this season with an ankle injury, and Cleveland has chosen a cautious approach with him moving forward.
"Let me say, for one, I'm just happy to be a part of this team, part of something that I think is special," Rose told ESPN.com. "A minute restriction, there's nothing I can do about that. But with me having all these injuries in my past, I'm kind of used to it. But whatever the team sees and the staff sees and they want me to do, that's what I'm going to cooperate with and just go about it the right way."
According to the ESPN report, Rose will only play 28-31 minutes per game. While that's still a healthy chunk of minutes, it does force coach Tyronn Lue to dictate what part of the game he favors having Rose on the court.
Rose has played at least 29 minutes in all three games since returning from his ankle injury. He has averaged 18 points during that time, including a 20-point effort Friday against the Wizards.
"My ankle still isn't there yet, so the second half it was getting stiff," Rose said. "But I feel like I'm putting it together, quarter by quarter."
Rose will continue to play a large role in Cleveland's rotation at least until Isaiah Thomas returns from his hip injury. Thomas was acquired in the trade that sent Kyrie Irving to the Celtics, but he has not yet made his Cavaliers debut.
