Kobe Bryant’s swan song at the All-Star Game wouldn’t have been complete without some words from the man he admired growing up.
Hornets owner Michael Jordan was on hand Sunday for the final All-Star Game Bryant would partake in, and offered up some praise for his protégée and former nemesis.

“He goes out the way he wants to go out,” Jordan told TNT. “He brought a lot of joy to the game."
Bryant was treated to not one but two video tributes before the game.
Jordan, who got a similar treatment during his last All-Star Game in 2003, thought it was a fitting way to honor the 18-time All-Star.
“I think the fans, the whole city obviously, have paid him a tribute," Jordan said. "He deserves it. He’s been a big part to the game of basketball. I look forward to seeing where his life goes from this point forward.”
