Australians among NBA's dirtiest players according to poll image

Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova has developed quite the reputation.

Some believe this perception is based on his never-ending hustle and grit, with others believing he is a reckless player. It's hard to ignore the several incidences from the 2015 Playoffs, specifially when he dove into the legs of Hawks' guard Kyle Korver, which resulted in a season-ending injury for Korver. But there was also the Taj Gibson incident , the Al Horford incident and the Draymond Green incident.

The evidence is certainly there. Whether or not he is a dirty player is up for debate. The Los Angeles Times recently conducted a poll with anonymous players and coaches to determine the NBA's dirtiest player, and Dellavedova garnered the bulk of the votes,

"The 24 people who spoke anonymously — some of them voted for more than one player — listed their top five dirtiest players:

Dellavedova received 13 votes. Oklahoma City centre Steven Adams was next with seven votes. Andrew Bogut (5), Memphis forward Matt Barnes (4) and Oklahoma City forward Serge Ibaka (2) rounded out the top five."

It should come as no surprise to see Dellavedova joined by Adams, Barnes and Ibaka. But considering his brief time in the league, it is interesting to see him garner more votes than Ibaka and Barnes.
