Doncic, considered by many a favorite to be selected No. 1 overall by the Suns in this year's NBA Draft, told reporters in Europe that he's still contemplating whether he will join the NBA for the 2018-19 season.

“Ι’m not sure if these are the last two games [in EuroLeague]. We have yet to make this decision. Perhaps after the season,” Doncic said when asked if the Final Four games are the last two he’ll play in EuroLeague, via eurohoops.net.

A 6-6 guard from Slovenia, Doncic, 19, averaged 14.5 points per game for Real Madrid this season, while draining 46 percent of his shots from the field.

He is considered one of the best European prospects of all time.

New Suns head coach Igor Kokoskov, who coached him on the Slovenian national team that won EuroBasket in 2017, has publicly praised Doncic as a "wunderkind."

The Suns are likely a few years from contending, but selecting Arizona center DeAndre Ayton could help speed up the process.

With Devin Booker, Josh Jackson and Dragan Bender already on the roster, Ayton's immediate impact could bode well for the team.
