The Houston Rockets made quick and easy work of the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday (AEDT).

The main headline heading into the matchup was MVP candidates James Harden and Russell Westbrook doing battle for the last time in the regular season.

Westbrook put up another monster triple-double of 39 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists. Harden posted  22 points and 12 assists as the Rockets  got the 137-125 win.

After the game the Rockets social media fire off shots at Westbrook's MVP campaign with a tweet parodying hip-hop artist Drake's latest playlist "More Life".

"Triple-doubles are just a number" seems like a reference to Westbrook's run at being the only player since Oscar Robertson in 62' to average a triple-double.

Harden has the Rockets firmly in the third seed of the Western Conference, which is the argument many make in his favour discussing the MVP race.
