The Golden State Warriors were all the rage at NBA All-Star Weekend last week, while Damian Lillard had the weekend off. Lillard took out his frustrations over his snub on the league's top team Friday night.
The Portland Trail Blazers guard and his team made a statement on with an unexpected 137-105 blowout of the Warriors.
Lillard scored a career-high 51 points and added seven assists as the Trailblazers ended the Warriors 11-game win streak and handed them just their fifth loss of the season. He connected on 18 of 28 field-goal attempts in the game.
The Warriors are no stranger to blowouts, but on Friday night they got a lesson in what it felt like to be on the wrong end of one.
They weren't the only Western Conference giant to stumble after the All-Star break as the Thunder fell 101-98 to the Pacers on Friday and the Spurs suffered a 105-86 loss to the Clippers on Thursday.
Tweet of the Night
It was Dame's world Friday night, and we were all just living in it. Basically, he got to be Stephen Curry for the night.

Highlights of the Night
His team fell 101-98 to the Pacers, but Russell Westbrook was spectacular as usual. He dished out 18 assists and also found time to score 23 points on drives like this one.

Studs of the Night
Luol Deng had a turn-back-the-clock night against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. The Miami Heat forward scored 30 points and 11 rebounds to help his team come up with a 115-111 win over their division rivals.
Doug McDermott and Derrick Rose were just what the doctor ordered in Chicago. McDermott scored 30 points and Rose scored 26 points as the Chicago Bulls upset the Toronto Raptors 116-106 on Friday.
Dud of the Night
The Phoenix Suns backcourt had a bad shooting night. Archie Goodwin and Devin Booker combined to score 20 points, but were just 6-of-24 from the field and turned the ball over five times in their teams' 116-100 loss to Chicago.
Looking Ahead:
Golden State Warriors (48-5) at Los Angeles Clippers (36-18): The Clippers struggled early this season, but they've come together nicely over the past couple months. Thursday's 105-86 win over the Spurs was a good way to kick off the second half, but they don't have much time to bask in that win because the Warriors are coming to town and they will be looking for blood after a blowout loss to the Trailblazers.
