Halfway through their game against Jazz on Wednesday night, everything seemed to be going wrong for the Lakers.
Riding a three-game losing streak, they lost an early 11-point lead and ended up trailing by double digits for much of the game.

To make matters worse, Anthony Davis suffered a serious ankle injury with three minutes left in the first half and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
The team could have easily folded and slumped to a fourth-straight loss but LeBron James had other ideas.

The King erupted for 15 of his 33 points in the fourth and final quarter, helping the team outscore the Jazz 35-22 in the period.
Over the final six minutes, the Lakers went from trailing by 12 points to winning 106-101 courtesy of a game-winning 26-9 run.

James scored or assisted on 15 of those 26 points, putting on a show late in front of a contingent from the Super Bowl-winning Los Angeles Rams including Aaron Donald at the Crypto.com arena.
"He frequently leads with his voice, tonight was about his action," Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said on James' performance.

He finished the game with 33 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two steals. It's his career-high 23rd consecutive game with at least 25 points.
That streak ties him with Joel Embiid for the longest this season and also ties him with Laker legend Elgin Baylor for the longest one by a Laker.
With this victory, the Lakers are now 2-0 against the Jazz, both times closing out with a center-less line-up and both times, James has played a huge role.
This loss snaps the Jazz's six-game winning streak but it's their sixth straight road loss.
