The Warriors sent a message in Game 2.
After dropping Game 1 at home, Golden State came out and trounced the Lakers by 27 points, 127-100, to even the series at 1-1.
Los Angeles actually had a seven-point lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Warriors blew the game open by scoring a combined 84 points in the second and third quarters to pull away. Sharpshooter Klay Thompson caught fire from 3-point range, finishing with 30 points on eight made triples.
Golden State was able to shut down Anthony Davis after he dominated in Game 1, holding the superstar forward to just 11 points and seven rebounds.

Klay Thompson stole the show with 30 points and eight 3-pointers. Stephen Curry excelled as a distributor, dishing out 12 assists to go with 20 points. Despite a strong first half from LeBron James, his 23 points were not enough to uphold a poor performance from Anthony Davis, who finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.
The series will head to Los Angeles for Game 3 on Saturday.
