The Lakers had a scare in Tuesday's (AEDT) preseason game vs the Nuggets when prized rookie Lonzo Ball tweaked his ankle in the second period.

Ball did return to the game before leaving for good as the game looked to be out of reach in the fourth.
Team head athletic trainer Marco Nunez seemed to take every precaution before sending Ball back out for the second half.
Ball went back to the locker room to start treatment on that left ankle since he’s not returning to the game w/5:51 to play.

Ball posted eight points and four assists in the Lakers 113-107 loss to Denver.
The Lakers will play the Nuggets again in a rematch on Thursday (AEDT) in preseason action.
