Love suffered a concussion in Cleveland’s Game 6 win on Saturday (AEST), and according to ESPN.com, he’ll need plenty of rest before the team decides if he can take the floor for Monday’s deciding Game 7 in Boston.

"Tomorrow will tell us more," a source told ESPN.com.

Love left Saturday’s game after he knocked heads with Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum in the first quarter.

Play was stopped as Love had to be helped off the floor.

“I have not had a chance to see the medical staff,” Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said after the game.

“I know at halftime they were evaluating [Love], but I don't know anything right now.”

Jeff Green replaced Love in the lineup and finished the 109-99 win with 14 points, while LeBron James led the team with 46 points 11 rebounds and nine assists.

Game 7 is scheduled for 10:30am (AEST) on Monday at TD Garden.
