It's been a rough start to the playoffs for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

For Karl-Anthony Towns, it couldn't get any worse. After struggling to find a rhythm in Game 1, his Timberwolves teammates acknowledged they had to do a better job of getting their big fella involved.

Game 2 went far worse for Towns, going 2-for-9 from the field for just five points and 10 rebounds in 24 minutes.

" We're working it out," Towns told the media after the game.

"The flow of the game tells us what to do. We have our gameplans, we stick to our gameplans and we go from there."

The game flow has been unkind to Towns thus far. In his first two playoff games, the 22-year-old has 13 points on 5-for-18 from the floor. For context, Derrick Rose who was brought in for insurance heading into the post-season, has almost doubled Towns' output posting 25 points on 11-for-23 shooting in the two games of the series.

To say Towns has to step up is an understatement, but the All-Star remains confident ahead of Game 3 in Minnesota.

"No time to be frustrated," Towns explained.

"To much focus and positive energy has go into the right way. There ain't no time for negative, ain't no time for frustration, there ain't no time to hang your head down.

"I think we all got to be better, including myself."

The Timberwolves now look forward to heading home where they were 30-11 on the season. They also have two days to rest, recover and try and find out ways to slow down the powerful Rockets offence.

"It's playoffs, it's a different ball-game. The physicality is different - everything is different all around.

"We got to adjust accordingly."
