Josh Green is staying put in Dallas after signing a three-year rookie extension with the Mavericks.

Green has blossomed into a reliable wing player for the Mavs over his first three seasons in the league, earmarked as a starter heading into 2023-24.

Last season, Green flourished as a key contributor on both ends, averaging 9.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists on 53.7 percent shooting from the field, 40.2 percent from the 3-point line and 72.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Green has signed a three-year, $41 million ($AUD 64 million) contract with the Mavericks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Green's deal will earn him an annual value of $13.6 million (USD).

According to Spotrac, Green has made a total of $8.8 million (USD) so far in his NBA career. That does not include the final year of his rookie deal and his reported extension, which would take his career earnings to $54.6 million (USD).
