Johnny Furphy contract details: Aussie signs four-year rookie deal with Indiana Pacers image

Australian Johnny Furphy has put pen to paper on a contract with the Indiana Pacers.

After being selected by the Pacers with the No. 35 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Furphy is the 10th Australian on an NBA roster heading into next season.

The 19-year-old finds himself on a young Pacers team fresh off an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals, with the up-and-coming squad relishing getting the Aussie as a second-round steal.

"He is a guy that our scouts had as the No. 14 player in the entire draft, and we got him at 35, so we feel pretty fortunate there," Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said

Furphy will earn US$1.8 million in his rookie season, with the first three years of his deal guaranteed.

Here are the details of Furphy's' contract with the Pacers.
