Ja Morant did it again.
In a win over the Trail Blazers in the final week of the 2022-23 regular season, the Grizzlies star added another poster to his best career dunks highlight reel, which — this isn't a joke — is already over 20 minutes long.
Drew Eubanks and Shaedon Sharpe were on the receiving end of Morant's acrobatics this time around. That's right, he dunked over not one, but two defenders.
Sure, Sharpe is only a couple of inches taller than Morant, but Eubanks is close to being 7 feet.

The photo of Morant's dunk might be even better than the video.

The really fun part? Morant goes to the move that set up his dunk over Eubanks and Sharpe a lot. In fact, it's set up almost all of his most memorable dunks to date.

The unstoppable move that sets up Ja Morant's best career dunks
Let's go back to Morant's dunk over Chris Boucher from the 2021-22 season for this exercise.
The setup is exactly the same, with the Grizzlies overloading the opposite side of the court to Morant to give him the space he needs to run a pick-and-roll. Morant's defender, Fred VanVleet, goes over the screen from Steven Adams, leaving Boucher as the only person left standing between Morant and the basket.
As you can see, the paint is quite open for Morant to attack:
Here's where Morant's favorite move, which he's been doing since before he entered the NBA, comes into play.
Not only does Morant hit Boucher with a right-to-left crossover, but he jabs with his right foot in the middle of his crossover as though he's going to go in that direction.
The combination does a couple of things.
One, it loses Boucher, whose body is going in the opposite direction to Morant. (It looks like Boucher's feet overlap for a split-second, which is never a good thing.) Two, it helps Morant explode toward the basket like he's being shot out of a cannon.
All that's left is for Morant to do, well, this:
Now that you know the move, rewatch Morant's dunk over Sharpe and Eubanks from Wednesday night:
Want more? How about his dunk on Aron Baynes from his rookie season:
Or when he jammed on Robin Lopez, who is a legit 7-footer:
Or the second time he put Jakob Poeltl on a poster this season:
Or when he detonated on Jalen Smith, which might be Morant's best dunk yet:
See? He does it a lot. And why wouldn't he? It's already helped Morant embarrass a number of defenders and it's going to help him embarrass many more in the years to come.
