Giannis Antetokounmpo has been an unstoppable force at EuroBasket 2022.

The superstar forward has Greece looking like one of the best teams in the tournament, leading his country to a perfect 5-0 record in the group stage. Antetokounmpo's 29.5 points per game are the most of any player at EuroBasket, as the two-time NBA MVP is asserting his dominance in the hopes of leading Greece to a podium finish.

But Antetokounmpo's impressive run at EuroBasket had a scare in Greece's final group stage game against Estonia, going down with an apparent injury in the second half of a contest that was already decided.

How serious is Antetokounmpo's injury and will he be forced to miss any time? Here's everything we know about the situation.

What is Giannis Antetokounmpo's injury?

In the third quarter of Greece's blowout win over Estonia on Thursday, Antetokounmpo came up hobbling after he hit the deck on a drive where he was called for an offensive foul.

Antetokounmpo was subbed out immediately and appeared to be in pain when standing in front of his team's bench.

At first, it seemed like Antetokounmpo had suffered a knee injury, but replays showed that he appeared to suffer a right ankle injury. Since Greece was up by 28 points at the end of the third quarter, Antetokounmpo sat out for the remainder of the game for precautionary reasons.

For what it's worth, SPORT24's Harris Stavrou reported that Antetokounmpo was seen laughing and joking around with his teammates on the bench late in the game.

Fortunately for Antetokounmpo and Greece, their next game isn't for a couple of days.

When does Greece play next?

After going 5-0 to win Group C, Greece will take on the Czech Republic in the Round of 16 on Sunday.

Czech Republic went 2-3 in Group D, just narrowly edging Israel by a head-to-head tiebreaker for the final spot in the Round of 16.

The game will be played at EuroBasket Arena Berlin. The time of the contest is still to be determined.
